A Family Portrait, Queens
Our latest award winning film: A Family Portrait, Queens for The River Fund in New York City- an organization that works to support food insecure families in the area tells the story of the Jobson family and focuses on Darleen a recent widow and single mother of three boys, who through her children rediscovers a sense of optimism and joy.
The film recently toured the festival circuit and brought home the best short documentary award at both the SCAD Savannah Film Festival and the Academy Award Qualifying Urban World Film Festival and is now eligible for best short documentary at the 2025 Academy Awards
